a CLEAR MESSAGE FOR South Dorset EMERGES AFTER THE FINAL LEADERS DEBATE.
VOTE LIB DEM TO KEEP THE TORIES OUT
Nationally as well as in South Dorset Labour are now in third place . If you choose to vote tactically ,remember that Labour have no County Councillors, no District Councillors, only 5 Borough Councillors, scored only 14% of the vote here in June and only have 4 MPs in the South West compared to 12 Lib Dems and 13 Conservatives . A tactical vote against the Conservatives in South Dorset on May 6th is a vote for the Liberal Democrats.
GENERAL ELECTION NOW A TWO HORSE RACE
Cameron and Clegg are hailed the winners of final leaders' debate
A snap Populus poll for The Times gave Mr Cameron and Mr Clegg a shared victory on the night, each with 38 per cent. Mr Brown, despite a combative performance in which he faced up to his disastrous gaffe the previous day, trailed in third on 25 per cent from a sample of 1,929 respondents.
The Liberal Democrats declared they were now in a "two-horse race" with the Tories.
A ComRes survey for ITV News found that the Tory leader was seen as the winner by 35 per cent, with Mr Clegg on 33 per cent and Mr Brown on 26 per cent.
Nick Clegg urged voters at the end of last night's debate to vote for a reforming Parliament and a treasury of economic unity to guide us through the recession: "As you decide how to cast your vote, of course you'll be told by these two, that real change is dangerous, that it can't be done.
"Don't let anyone scare you from following your instincts. Together, next week we can change Britain for good."
